AT&T GigaPower Out-of-Home Advertising

AT&T GigaPower was one of the first gigabit-speed internet services available in the US, but the complicated rollout process meant AT&T could only activate a handful of markets at a time. I was the writer on the team AT&T hired to flood those select markets with hyper-local campaigns designed to capture as many customers as possible before the competition could catch up. So we explored every available avenue – including billboards and gas station signage – to convince prospects to sign up.

Coffee Cup Sleeves

While we always blanketed AT&T’s chosen markets with billboards and digital ad campaigns, we also came up with some less-expected ways to get the word out about AT&T GigaPower’s incredible speeds. One of my favorite executions was a series of humble coffee cup sleeves. I had fun writing these.

Kansas City Mall Wrap

When AT&T launched GigaPower in Kansas City, we got the opportunity to create wraps for doors, escalators, elevators… pretty much anything that moved in Oak Park Mall. The campaign line that AT&T launched with was “Kansas City has the power,” so we leaned into that idea with our mall executions, suggesting that the incredible speeds of AT&T GigaPower could give you superpowers.
